Will my texts get resent?
If you send a contact a text and they don't engage with the text, we will attempt to resend via email; however, we will never resend it as another text message.
When do my Gratavids get resent?
When resending is activated, Gratavid won't resend your email if one of these is true:
- The contact's original email bounced, dropped, or was deferred.
- The contact unsubscribed to any of your emails.
- If your original Gratavid was sent as a note, then we won't resend it to any contacts who opened the original email.
- If your original Gratavid was sent as a task, then we won't resend it to any contacts who played your video.
The key takeaway is that when sending via a note, we won't resend if the email was opened. When sending via a task, we will resend if the email was opened and the video was not played.
How do resends look?
Gratavid resends emails as plain text emails. You can change your resend subject and email body under each note. All tasks will use the resend settings of their corresponding note. TIP: Make sure to use merge fields in the note template.
One watch out
Resends are reviewed at the send level, not the note level. For example, if you send a contact the same note twice by accident and they watch the second send, they will still be eligible to receive a resend from the first send.
Sending via Gmail and Outlook
If you sent your original task through Gmail or Outlook, then Gratavid will send resends through Gmail or Outlook too.
